Role



We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Key Account Manager to lead and grow partnerships with major national retailers including Costco, Walmart, Loblaws, Save-On-Foods, and other mainstream accounts. This role is pivotal in driving market penetration, maximizing profitability, and elevating brand visibility across Canada's retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Account Management



Develop and execute tailored business plans for each retail partner to achieve sales targets and market share objectives

Drive both long-term strategic goals and short-term execution plans for mainstream retail channels like

Walmart, Costco, Save On food, Sobeys, Safeway, Fresco, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore



Sales & Data-Driven Growth



Leverage POS data, consumer insights, and market trends to identify new growth opportunities

Optimize product assortment and pricing strategies in collaboration with analytics and merchandising teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Partner closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development teams to ensure flawless execution of programs and initiatives

Forecasting & Inventory Planning



Deliver accurate sales forecasts and collaborate on demand planning to optimize inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstock

Promotional & Retail Execution



Manage the promotional calendar, encompassing digital campaigns, in-store activations, and co-branded marketing initiatives, developed in close collaboration with the Branding and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with each retailer's strategy and consumer engagement goals

Ensure optimal product placement, retail execution, and shelf visibility

Contract Negotiation & Trade Terms



Lead negotiations on pricing, trade terms, and promotional agreements with retail partners

Monitor account receivables, manage claim settlements, and ensure timely payment collection

Performance Reporting



Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), account profitability, and campaign performance

Prepare and present business reviews and sales reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders

Market Intelligence



Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends and competitor activity

Provide actionable insights to guide strategy and innovation

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree / master's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.

Proven track record in sales management within the food industry, particularly in the Canada market.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical abilities with a focus on strategic planning and problem-solving.

Leadership capabilities with experience in team management and development.

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
