Overview

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Key Accounts Manager is responsible to achieve sales and revenue targets and drive our Brand's/Client's/ Principal's sales growth. The right candidate executes this by increasing distribution of the brands represented, through targeted projects with Multi-Unit & Regional Key Accounts, and additional listings with Foodservice Distributors.

The ideal candidate has experience working directly with key accounts, building relationships with the Culinary and Purchasing departments to ensure they are aware of every and all opportunities on the horizon. The Key Account Manager should have a strong understanding of the sales cycle for each dynamic customer, knowing who the key decision maker is, and what motivates that customer's decision making.

Scope of Work:

Target and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, focusing on a designated list of key accounts.

Identify and approach new opportunities in the industry to constantly build strength in your portfolio of customers.

Collaborate with the entire sales team to develop market strategies and build off each other's successes.

Understand each of your customer's go to market strategies and how our product lines fit into that vision: Menu timing, RFP's, targeted COGS, branding and company values.

Work closely with our distributor partners to alleviate supply issues, expand sales on current listings, and develop new listing opportunities.

Submit detailed daily, monthly & quarterly reporting to show ongoing progress for each key opportunity.

Maintain Customer Work Sheets for each key account including updates for each key opportunity and future targets. As well as details on the customer business model and how they pertain to opportunities as a whole: units, LTO's, menu changes, key contacts, etc.

Work closely with our Principals as needed maintaining a timely and effective communication structure.

Develop and present innovative presentations to highlight our product lines to Key Accounts and Principals.

Qualifications:

Passion for Food & Hospitality.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Foodservice or Retail sales with a manufacturer, distributor or brokerage, working directly with large accounts.

Motivated and self-driven. Able to set goals and hold yourself accountable.

Must demonstrate strong communication skills.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office with good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook.

Competent with video conferencing apps.

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Team player.

Must have a valid driver's license & access to a vehicle.

Travel up to 5 nights per month may be required.

Assets (not required):

Culinary Experience.

Experience leading a team.

Post Secondary education in Business, Marketing, or Sales

Pay: $65,151.76-$85,833.04 per year
