Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Accounts Manager to join Sarjesa Group on a part-time basis. This role will focus on managing and growing relationships with key grocery and health food accounts while driving business development for our flagship brands, Sarjesa Tea and Buzzd Nutrition , with opportunities to manage other brands in the portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consumer packaged goods or beverage sales, strong analytical skills, and the ability to implement systems to ensure long-term success.

Compensation
This role offers a base pay + commission structure and will require 15-25 hours per week on average. There are also benefits.

Important
The Sarjesa Group started as a home based business in 2017, it quickly grew. However, we are still in the process of setting up all our systems and processes, especially for the sales department. It is a small team with lots to learn. A huge part of the role will be establishing systems to help the business grow. We are starting from the beginning in a lot of ways.

Responsibilities

• Lead Account Development : Build and maintain strong relationships with key grocery and health food accounts to achieve sales targets. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to ensure accounts are managed effectively and deliver consistent growth.
• Support Key Accounts : Act as the primary contact for large accounts, providing high-level support and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet client needs.
• Business Development & Partnerships : Work closely with the Founder and team to identify and pursue new growth opportunities. Form strategic partnerships to open new markets across Canada and expand brand presence.
• Promotional Planning & Execution : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional plans aligned with business objectives. Monitor promotional success and suggest improvements to optimize results.
• Sales Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement clear and focused channel strategies, incorporating data analysis, environmental scans, and identification of risks and opportunities. Track and report progress against plans.
• Sales Analysis & Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to provide actionable insights into performance and trends. Use these insights to adjust strategies and drive growth.
• Sales Systems & Processes : Implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, budgeting, and trade spend processes to align with the company's strategic goals.
• Performance Metrics & Improvement : Monitor and analyze account performance metrics. Suggest improvements and provide guidance on account planning to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Promote Team Culture : Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, aligned with Sarjesa Group's values. Recruit, coach, and motivate the team to meet objectives and work effectively toward shared OKRs.
• Trade Spend Management : Monitor trade spend initiatives to ensure ROI, make recommendations for improvement, and support trade spend negotiations for key accounts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with marketing and operational teams to create and execute sustainable growth plans. Provide valuable insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
• Promotions & Product Knowledge : Ensure the sales team effectively promotes new marketing initiatives, stays informed about new product launches, and communicates label or regulatory changes to key accounts.
• Compliance & Administrative Tasks : Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and administrative requirements such as expense submissions, reporting, and training.
• Other Duties as Needed : Flexibly take on additional responsibilities to support the growth and success of Sarjesa Group and its brands.

Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in grocery, health food, or related industries.
• Strong negotiation skills with a successful track record of closing deals.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and market trends to inform business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Leadership experience or a background in business development is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
