Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, reliable

Kennel Technician / Trainer Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily care for dogs: feeding, cleaning kennels, administering medication, and ensuring safe play and exercise Support trainers during training sessions: handling dogs, prepping equipment, maintaining a clean and safe training environment Monitor dogs for health or behavioral issues and communicate observations to trainers Assist with client drop-off/pick-up and provide friendly, professional customer service Maintain accurate records using facility software Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Requirements

Genuine love of dogs and commitment to their wellbeing Previous experience working with animals (professional or volunteer) is an asset but

not required

Able to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and able to lift 40 lbs, be on your feet for extended periods, and work indoors/outdoors in all weather Excellent communication skills and positive attitude Flexibility for weekday, weekend, and occasional evening shifts
