Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care and maintenance of animals in the kennel
- Feed and water animals according to schedules and dietary requirements
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor and report any changes in animal behaviour or health to supervising staff
- Exercise and provide enrichment activities for animals as directed
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals
- Administer medications or treatments as instructed by veterinary staff
- Assist with intake and discharge of animals, including proper documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, answering questions and addressing concerns

Qualifications:

-Must have lots of patience and not be bothered by loud noises
- Previous experience with working or owning dogs is required
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and kneeling as required

-Experience deep cleaning, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing

-Must have open availability
