Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to animals in our facility, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of animal care, strong customer service skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercising. Daily cleaning of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for pet owners, providing excellent customer service. Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in animal care. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care. Compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
