Meadowview Pet Resort is a premiere pet boarding facility located in Thorold, ON. We are central to Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Fonthill & Welland. In addition to boarding, we also offer daycare and grooming services.

Meadowview Pet Resort is currently seeking a Part Time Kennel Attendant to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Feeding and preparing meals for both boarding and daycare guests Handling animals of various temperaments, breeds and species daily Supervising activity times (ex. country walk, group play, etc.) and bathroom breaks outside Communicate with Supervisor/Manager about the animals under your care General cleaning duties as assigned (including but not limited to: cleaning up accidents, tidying rooms, cleaning up play yards, deep cleaning rooms from departed guests, etc.) Completing care records for boarding guests Assisting front desk with arriving and departing guests (ex. organizing belongings, bringing out pets, etc.) Other duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Experience handling various breeds and species of animals is a plus (not a requirement) Be able to work both indoors and outdoors in ALL weather conditions Be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time Have reliable transportation to and from work (we are located in the country and are NOT on any public transit route)

LOVE animals Have a pleasant personability and a positive attitude Not be afraid to get dirty or covered in animal hair Be reliable and honest Be a self started with a strong attention to detail Be comfortable working both alone or in a team environment Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Have flexibility with working hours (we are care for animals 7 days/week, 365 days/year).

WORKING HOURS

This position may be required to work up to 5 days per week with shifts scheduled anytime from 7am-9pm. This position will be approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
