Are you committed to supporting vulnerable populations and creating meaningful change? In this position within the Justice Services sector, you'll play a key role in helping individuals with brain injuries navigate the criminal justice system. This role combines frontline support, systems advocacy, and community engagement to help clients reduce risk of re-offense and increase their independence.

What You'll Do

You'll collaborate with justice system stakeholders, provide court support, and work alongside community partners to build a strong network of resources. Responsibilities include:

Client Support and Coordination

: Provide brain-injury informed support and outreach, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate individualized care plans.

Systems Navigation and Advocacy

: Support clients in navigating court processes and connect them with appropriate services, including housing, mental health, and addiction resources.

Partnership Development

: Build and maintain strong relationships with police, probation, legal aid, and other community-based agencies.

Education and Outreach

: Facilitate education sessions on brain injury and the justice system for internal staff, external partners, and the broader community.

Program Access

: Ensure clients have equitable access to BrainTrust services, including group programs and clinical counselling.

What We're Looking For

You're someone who is trauma-informed, flexible, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. You're comfortable in a variety of settings--from the courtroom to community outreach--and understand the importance of meeting people where they're at. Experience with marginalized populations, especially those impacted by brain injury, homelessness, or substance use, is an asset.
