The Jurisdictional Consultant is responsible for learning and developing the skills required to manage, inspect, evaluate, and consult with Clients at a variety of insured locations for jurisdictional purposes. More precisely, they are responsible for conducting risk-based, loss-control focused, in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels as per Ontario's jurisdictional laws and regulations respecting pressure vessels, such as the TSSA Ontario Regulation 220/01), CSA B51 and B52 codes, National Board Inspection Codes, as well as applicable ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes, and FM requirements and standards. They accurately collect nameplate information, sizing, safety devices testing and maintenance record of boilers and pressure vessels to ensure they operate safely prior to issuing certificate of inspection. Expected overnight travel is about 20% annually.
