• Supporting the lead Technical Writer in creating, editing, and processing customer facing documentation such as manuals, instructions for use, etc.
• Ensuring technical accuracy, legibility, and compliance to quality and branding standards by:

• Understanding the technology and applications for which documentation is to be prepared
• Collecting information from subject matter experts (Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing)
• Gathering and analyzing the information needs of the user
• Assisting in laying out material for publication

• Working with translation service providers and printers
• Coordinating labeling changes within manufacturing site on behalf of Labeling Group
• Working with Document Control and Quality Assurance Specialists to prepare Change Control packages
• Maintaining consistency within a system of documentation
• Proofreading and editing technical documents for accuracy, content and formatting

• You are well versed in technical writing, including the development of effective manuals that enhance userability

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

• Successful completion of the Technical Writing post-graduate certification and the successful completion of bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Science, Engineering, Arts (English/Technical Communications) and/or an equivalent combination of education and at least 2 years technical writing experience
• Strong knowledge of modern desktop publishing software (Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, MS Word)
• Excellent communication skills, including writing and editing using correct English grammar and syntax
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to cover a broad range of technical topics to meet strict deadlines, working independently and collaboratively with internal and external subject matter experts
