Equinox Engineering Ltd. is a Calgary-based EPCM firm. We are a market leader in oil and gas processing specializing in facilities design, implementation and operational assistance for natural gas, conventional and heavy oil projects. Our clients include several of the largest oil & gas producers in Canada and worldwide, and we are currently executing a wide range of sweet gas, sour gas, conventional oil, heavy oil facility and pipeline projects.

Summary:

The Intermediate Civil Structural Designer is responsible for the preparation of all civil structural deliverables in the Drafting and Design Department. These include structural steel layouts and details, piling layouts and details, concrete details, ladders and platforms, steel structures and associated 3D models.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of 3D models using Intergraph CADWorx and Bentley AutoPLANT 3D software Preparation of design drawings including structural steel, concrete, piling and foundations Bill of materials generation Review of drawings and designs for accuracy, completeness and consistency Participate in internal and external 30/60/90 model reviews Adherence to electronic filing system, folder structure and file management Regular meetings with the Civil Structural Design Lead to ensure all project requirements are being met Effectively communicate the status of tasks, design changes and continuous improvement items to the rest of the design team Maintain proficiency with the most up to date software Develop mutually beneficial relationships with team members and project personnel

Key Skills & Qualifications

Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma 8+ years' of EPCM experience. Registered member of ASET.
