About the Role

Software development is evolving fast, especially in a world where AI changes how we build. At Jetstream, we believe that who you are matters as much as what you know. As a Junior Software Developer, you'll be part of a collaborative team where your communication skills, drive, and enthusiasm will matter just as much as your technical abilities. What You'll Do

Write and maintain automation tests to support software quality Create new features, fix bugs, and improve code performance in a fast-moving environment Collaborate with teammates, share ideas, and communicate clearly Experiment with new technologies (including AI tools) to find better solutions Write clean, maintainable code and learn from feedback

What We're Looking For

You must be able to attend onsite training in Victoria, BC

Post Secondary Education required or equivalent, depending on experience Strong soft skills: communication, curiosity, and a positive attitude Aptitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving and learning quickly A drive to experiment and adapt in a changing tech landscape Basic knowledge of programming (HTML, CSS, C# or another OOP language and SQL) Interest in automation testing and modern development practices Ability to work effectively across North American business hours
(Familiarity with tools like Entity Framework is nice to have, but not a dealbreaker. We value mindset and potential above checklists.)
