We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Self-Storage Clerk to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, organization, and administrative work. The clerk will support the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring a professional and friendly experience for all tenants while assisting with office and site duties.

Key Responsibilities



Customer Service Greet customers in person and by phone, providing excellent service. Assist tenants with inquiries about unit availability, pricing, and facility policies. Process new rentals, lease agreements, and move-out documentation. English and French Speaking Administrative Duties Manage tenant files, update records, and input information into management software. Handle rental payments, issue receipts, and follow up on late payments as directed. Prepare reports and assist in maintaining accurate inventory of available units. Facility Support Perform light inspections of storage units and common areas for cleanliness and security. Assist in organizing signage, office supplies, and other front-office tasks. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.

Qualifications



Previous experience in self storage,retail, or office Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, and storage management software training provided). Strong communication and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with occasional light physical tasks (opening units, walking property, posting notices).

Work Condition



Schedule: Full-time or part-time; must be available on some weekends. Environment: Combination of office work and facility walk-throughs. Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, with opportunities for growth into assistant manager Hold a driver's license and Car No criminal record

Ce poste de debutant est ideal pour quelqu'un qui aime le service a la clientele, l'organisation et le travail administratif. Le commis soutiendra les operations quotidiennes de l'etablissement, en garantissant une experience professionnelle et conviviale a tous les locataires tout en aidant aux taches administratives et sur le site.

Principales responsabilites



Service a la clientele Accueillir les clients en personne et par telephone, en leur offrant un excellent service. Aider les locataires qui ont des questions sur la disponibilite des unites, les tarifs et les politiques de l'etablissement. Traiter les nouvelles locations, les contrats de location et les documents de demenagement. Parler anglais et francais Taches administratives Gerer les dossiers des locataires, mettre a jour les registres et saisir les informations dans le logiciel de gestion. Gerer les paiements de loyer, emettre des recus et assurer le suivi des retards de paiement selon les instructions. Preparer des rapports et aider a maintenir un inventaire precis des unites disponibles. Assistance aux installations Effectuer des inspections legeres des unites de stockage et des parties communes pour verifier leur proprete et leur securite. Aider a organiser la signalisation, les fournitures de bureau et d'autres taches administratives. Signaler les problemes d'entretien ou les questions de securite a la direction.

Qualifications



Experience prealable dans le domaine du self-stockage, de la vente au detail ou des bureaux. Competences informatiques de base (formation a MS Office, a la messagerie electronique et aux logiciels de gestion du stockage fournie). Solides aptitudes en communication et en organisation. Capacite a travailler de maniere autonome et en equipe. A l'aise avec des taches physiques legeres occasionnelles (ouverture d'unites, deplacement dans l'etablissement, affichage d'avis).

Conditions de travail



Horaires : temps plein ou temps partiel ; disponibilite requise certains week-ends. Environnement : combinaison de travail de bureau et de visites des installations. Remuneration : salaire horaire competitif, avec possibilite d'evolution vers un poste d'assistant manager. Permis de conduire et voiture requis. Casier judiciaire vierge.
