We need an active and energetic Junior Sales Trainee to learn to do in-shop preparation, deliveries and a variety of other tasks while assisting our salespeople. We sell home medical equipment for children and adults with physical disabilities, such as power and manual wheelchairs, hospital beds and a wide variety of other personal healthcare equipment.
The position will involve learning to perform receiving in the warehouse, as well as the setup, adjustment and basic repair of many types of equipment. The candidate will be asked to do appointments in client residences and institutions, for delivery, setup and adjustment, and will also be trained to make quotations, and perform other clerical and sales-assistance tasks.
The right person will have an opportunity to begin to serve our clients directly after gaining knowledge and experience with a wide range of equipment, eventually to liaise directly with medical prescribers and industry representatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Compassion for children and adults with disabilities
Good health and physical fitness; can lift 70 - 100 pounds on occasion
English language proficiency
Citizenship or valid work permit
Current residence in Lower Mainland
Driver's license

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, training provided:
Warehouse receiving and recording.
Equipment setup and adjustment
Delivery, repair and pickup from clients and suppliers
Sales follow-up with clients and medical prescribers
Costing and pricing
Quotation preparation
Scheduling of appointments and service events
Sales training
Cleaning and maintenance of shop areas and customer service showroom

Previous sales experience
Tool and technical abilities
Forklift operation
REMUNERATION:
- $42k to $55k to start, depending on skills and experience
-this will be converted to an incentive program with commission, after successful training
