As a Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Prepr, you will support our Growth team in identifying and connecting with employers, partners, and organizations interested in Prepr's learning platform and workforce solutions. You will research potential leads, contribute to outreach initiatives, help build presentations and supporting materials, and participate in early-stage conversations with prospective partners. This role is ideal for a student who is curious, collaborative, and excited to gain hands-on sales experience while helping expand Prepr's impact across Canada.

What You'll Be Doing:



Research & Lead Generation

Identify and qualify leads for potential employer, academic, and community partners (e.g., hiring partners, upskilling partners, employer placement partners) in addition to platform subscriptions and workforce solution sales. Conduct research on employer needs, sector trends, and relevant workforce development opportunities. Maintain organised and accurate lead lists, sales pipelines, and partner information in CRM tools.

Outreach & Engagement

Support email outreach, cold-call campaigns, and follow-ups targeting prospective workforce solution clients and platform partners. Respond to initial inquiries and provide timely, accurate information about Prepr's offerings. Assist in developing outreach scripts, pitch angles, and value propositions tailored to employer needs.

Content & Presentation Support

Help create pitch decks, one-pagers, discovery call documents, and proposals for workforce solution conversations. Draft and organize supporting documents that communicate Prepr's value proposition. Assist in gathering success metrics and case studies for proposals.

Evaluation & Process Improvement

Review and evaluate sales tools, templates, and CRM workflows to suggest improvements. Participate in team discussions to share insights, propose improvements, and align on workforce sales strategies. Support the refinement of internal processes to improve visibility and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:



Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred) Interest in employer engagement, workforce development, sales, or nonprofit/ed-tech Passion for our product and mission Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously Ability to work in a technology-heavy environment and learn new tools and platforms quickly Prepr Mindset: Demonstrates agility, initiative, accountability, problem-solving, and collaborative communication--adapting to change, taking ownership, approaching challenges creatively, and working transparently with others to drive meaningful impact.

Bonus Points If You Have:



Experience with Outreach, Salesforce, Apollo, or other CRM platforms. Previous experience supporting sales, customer service, or employer-facing roles. Familiarity with workforce development, placement programs, or Ed tech. Basic understanding of sales cadences, call scripts, or lead qualification frameworks.

What We Offer:



$18.00 per hour 35 hours per week, 9 am-5 pm Monday to Friday Hybrid, primarily work from home with occasional scheduled office days (office is located downtown Toronto)
