Position Overview
The Junior Sales Coordinator plays a key support role within the sales and operations team at Da-Lee Pavement Products. Reporting to the Sales & Operations Manager and working closely with two Business Development Managers (BDMs), this role is focused on building strong customer relationships, ensuring seamless order processing, and supporting internal sales functions.
This is an entry-level role, ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow into a Business Development Manager position over time.
This is an in-office role, working Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00PM.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Sales Coordination
Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of B2B customers
Support order flow by identifying customer needs and ensuring timely follow-ups
Provide insights to BDMs on customer trends, product interest, and service issues
Order Processing & Logistics
Process and track confirmed orders through CRM and internal tracking sheets
Obtain carrier rates, prepare shipping paperwork, and coordinate pickups
Communicate shipment confirmations and delivery ETAs to customers
CRM & Data Entry
Maintain accurate and timely data in CRM (currently Filemaker; future transition to HubSpot)
Keep live documents and sales records updated for internal visibility
Qualifications
No prior sales experience required -- new grads welcome
Background in retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles is an asset
Familiarity with CRM systems and inside sales is helpful but not mandatory
Strong phone communication and interpersonal skills
Curious, proactive, and willing to learn in a structured environment
Coachable and open to feedback with a desire to grow into a BDM role
