We are growing again and looking for a Junior Research Analyst to contribute to the growth of SANDSTONE by providing the highest standard of investment research for the firm and our clients.

The Junior Research Analyst will be a highly motivated and goal-oriented team player who thrives in an open environment where flexibility and resourcefulness are required for success.

The role:



Perform comprehensive financial statement analysis and create and maintain financial models. Conduct in-depth industry analysis and research using industry and financial sources. Collect and consolidate industry and company data. Perform rigorous fundamental research on assigned securities/sectors. Present analysis and research findings in written and verbal formats to portfolio managers and the broader investment team. Provide analytical and quantitative support to the portfolio management team as required. Assist in writing internal and external research synopses and comments. Perform ongoing research to stay current with industry trends and developments.

What you bring to the role:



Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or engineering. 0 - 5 years of relevant experience. Work experience in corporate finance, research, accounting, or in an analytical capacity would be an asset. Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, with solid knowledge of Excel. Strong communication and presentation skills, including writing and verbal skills. Experience working with market data sets (Refinitiv Eikon, Bloomberg, Factset, etc.) and add-ins, in addition to sourcing data from the internet, would be an asset. Experience analyzing financial statements and creating financial models would be an asset. Curious about implementing Artificial Intelligence in all aspects of the research process. Experience and interest in equity markets and individual equities. Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Hardworking, inquisitive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented attitude. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented mindset with a demonstrated commitment to high-quality results. Great interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.

Pay: $35,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
