What you will do:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in real estate markets.
• Gather and analyze data on economic indicators, demographic trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Assist in creating and maintaining financial models for potential real estate investments.
• Review and analyze legal documents, leases, and property reports during due diligence processes.
• Familiarity with local and regional real estate markets.
• Foster positive relationships with internal teams, external partners, and industry professionals.
• Support the analysis of existing real estate portfolios to identify areas for optimization.
• Monitor key performance indicators and assist in preparing regular performance reports.
• Assist in maintaining databases and software tools used for real estate analysis.
• Provide general administrative support to the real estate team.

What we are looking for?

• Minimum two years\xe2\x80\x99 directly related real estate experience, ideally in a commercial development and/or property management environment
• Post-secondary education in Economics, Real Estate and or any related from an accredited institution is considered an asset.
• Real Estate industry knowledge
  
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling tools
• Assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to simultaneously handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Experience with MRI accounting software an asset
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
