Overview of Role

Sixone Labs has an immediate opening for a junior-level, detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our R&D team. This role plays a key part in supporting quality assurance of recycled products by performing routine quality control checks and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Perform routine wet-chemistry quality control testing on internal samples following established procedures and standards. Support the development and continuous improvement of QC methods and protocols. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to perform and document non-routine quality checks. Maintain organized and accurate QC records and reports. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Technical diploma or equivalent in chemistry, environmental technology, materials science, or a related field. Hands-on wet chemistry experience, gained either through education or laboratory work. General industrial quality control experience is a strong asset. Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy in testing and documentation. Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated interest in sustainability and quality improvement. Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
