BBA is currently seeking a project planner. Under the supervision of a senior planner, your role will consist of preparing and monitoring schedules.

Develop and update schedules for all project phases: engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning
Ensure project planning, organization and monitoring using tools like Primavera P6
Analyze the critical path, risks and opportunities, and prepare recommendations for the project or study manager
Produce progress reports and performance indicators
Update schedules, both weekly and monthly
Prepare reports and maintain ties with project management to plan activities and project scheduling
Maintain all planning and progress reports
Propose solutions to project managers to correct identified gaps and adhere to schedules
Exercise independent judgement in selecting, filing, compiling and analyzing data from various sources
Carry out all other related tasks that could help deliver projects

Summary of certifications and job requirements
College diploma or university degree
At least three years of relevant experience, ideally in the industrial or mining sectors
Knowledge of design and construction processes
Very good knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Primavera P6
Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Quebec
Asset: available to travel
Asset: experience with EPCM projects
