Overview

The Junior Production scheduler maintains and executes feasible detailed production schedules to maintain plant efficiency while delivering customer requirements and inventory targets in the "Best Value" possible.

Duties

Updates and maintains production schedules in all adjoining systems daily. Communicates daily and weekly schedules to the production team and maintains production flow. Analyzes production demand for each product category from top view to the detailed level. Coordinates and resolves scheduling or packaging related issues with Supervisors and changeover Lead. Optimizes production schedule by considering the constraints of tooling, machinery and staffing. Provides order completion timeline to the Customer Service team. Communicates order status to Customer Service (e.g. Delays, options for priority) Collaborates with all departments, including Production, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service and Sales. Weekly meetings with customer service to review and resolve supply issues. Ensures packaging availability to support scheduled production Other tasks as assigned.

A Great Attitude!*
Relevant post-secondary education (e.g. Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or related field). Highly organized and detail oriented. Proactive, results-oriented with strong follow through skills. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Computer proficiency: knowledge of MS Office, ERP, etc.

Familiar with Amhil products and plastic food packaging experience.
