Junior Photoshop Background Removal Specialist
Job Description
Nuovo Artistic Studios is a semi-nude artistic photography company that operates a collective of photography studios across the US and Canada. Leveraging its marketing, design, operation, and technological expertise, Nuovo is the force behind a never-before-seen approach to celebrating the power of individual beauty through a luxury photography experience.
We are currently seeking a Photoshop Background Removal Specialist, based in Montreal, to remove backgrounds of images to aid in the development of internal retouching softwares. This is available as an IN-PERSON position only, and will be a 3 to 6 month contract.
Responsibilities
- Removing the backgrounds of images
- Dealing with a high volume of images
- File sorting and organizing
- Aid in the development of internal retouching softwares
- Maintain an efficient and disciplined work ethic
Requirements
- Previous experience in photoshop
- Knowledge of various background removal techniques
- Proficient in Adobe Camera Raw
- Lightroom experience recommended
- Portfolio showcasing examples of detailed background removal (or replacement) work
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of previous photoshop experience
