Job Summary

ME to WE, a social enterprise that sells products and experiences with a social conscience, is looking for a junior packaging designer with a love of design, a passion for packaging, a keen desire to learn and an entrepreneurial spirit to work alongside its product development team 3 days a week. This person would join a team of highly talented product developers who create a diverse range of products for ME to WE - from artisan gift items to chocolate and coffee.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone to bring their design skills to help support ME to WE\xe2\x80\x99s evolving packaging aesthetic, contributing to custom package design and helping to implement design systems across a broad range of packaging formats. Some knowledge of the physical requirements and constraints of a package is an asset.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Design packaging systems that engage and delight consumers and have stopping power on shelf
  • Work with our senior graphic designer to apply illustrations/patterns and ensure brand guidelines are met to ready all files for print production
  • Work hand-in-hand with the product development team to implement, elevate and expand ME to WE packaging across all products and formats, from Rafikis to jewelry to lifestyle and travel items and more
  • Use your design thinking to help elevate the ME to WE brand and products to a world-class stature
  • Think out of the box to expand project asks
  • Create strong internal relationships
  • Organize and prioritize your time and projects to deliver work on a timely manner

  • A strong design portfolio with a focus on packaging design
  • An understanding of how to engage consumers through graphics
