About the Job:



We are seeking a

hands-on

Junior Operations Supervisor reporting to the Operation Manager that is passionate about bakery, leading people, production environment and continuous environment. The successful candidate will be able to take on more responsibility as you learn and grow, with the goal to grow within IREKS organization. This position supervises production, sanitation and warehouse area. It is important to understand that this job is hands-on, not office work.

Accountability:



Production and shipping data entries into our production system software.

In constant contact with production planning to make sure we fulfill production

Recommend Human Resources actions such as new hires, onboarding, promotions, work performance, discipline, and terminations.

Plan shipment in accordance with customer service

Demonstrate ownership of the production process delegating tasks to ensure production and quality targets are met.

Fill production and shipping /receiving HACCP reports.

Measure performance with key metrics and provide reports to management.

Responsible for finished goods and ingredient inventory

Promote safe environment and actively participate in our Health and Safety committee.

Report any deficiencies and concerns.

Promote quality and actively participate in our HACCP team.

Seeking opportunities for improvement.

Foster a positive and respectful environment where everyone feels important by coaching his team.

Track and report employee and agency personnel time and attendance for payroll processing and disbursement.

Assist in writing (and updating) Standard Operating Procedures and job function documents.

Work on the line when there is high production volume or employee absenteeism.

Look after the sanitation schedule and suggest/implement improvements.

Schedule delivery with transport contractor and reception of some material with suppliers

Other duties as assigned.

Competency in Microsoft Office Suite is an asset, along with the ability to learn industry-specific software systems. Previous experience in manufacturing is mandatory. Post Secondary diploma/degree required. Bachelor's degree in administration or engineering is preferred. Ability to adapt and prioritize multiple tasks and situations with effective time management skills. Forklift driving license required.

This role will require flexibility to work on production line.

This position requires ability to lift 25kgs. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Show accountability to deliver results and improve performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
