About the Role

Assisting intermediate and senior staff with engineering design on a variety of projects.

Completing detailed engineering drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Developing quantity estimates, working day schedules, and cost estimates.

Assisting in the preparation of tender document specifications. Providing input into preparation of engineering service proposals. Preparation of technical memos and reports for a variety of roadway and transportation projects. Occasional field investigations and site visits. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

What do we need from you

Completion of a

University degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum of 4 years of design experience on transportation engineering projects;

Actively pursuing licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is considered a strong asset;

Demonstrated experience in preparing technical specifications for tender documents;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both

English and French;

Strong attention to detail, with proven problem-solving and time management abilities; Effective team player with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment; Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle with current registration and insurance.

Responsabilites :

Assister le personnel intermediaire et superieur dans la conception technique sur une variete de projets.

Produire des dessins techniques detailles a l'aide des logiciels AutoCAD et MicroStation, conformement aux normes en vigueur.

Elaborer des estimations de quantites, des calendriers de jours ouvrables et des estimations de couts.

Participer a la preparation des specifications des documents d'appel d'offres.

Contribuer a la preparation des propositions de services d'ingenierie. Rediger des notes techniques et des rapports pour divers projets de voirie et de transport. Effectuer occasionnellement des enquetes sur le terrain et des visites de sites. Accomplir d'autres taches qui pourraient etre assignees ponctuellement.

Profil recherche :

Diplome universitaire en genie civil.

Au moins (4) annees d'experience en conception dans le cadre de projets en ingenierie des transports;

En cours d'obtention du permis d'ingenieur professionnel en Ontario. Maitrise de Microsoft Word, Excel et PowerPoint. Maitrise d'AutoCAD et/ou MicroStation (atout).

Experience dans la redaction de devis techniques pour les appels d'offres;

Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et ecrite en francais et en anglais

Grande attention aux details, competences en resolution de problemes et gestion du temps. Capacite a travailler efficacement au sein d'une equipe.

Possession d'un permis de conduire valide et acces a un vehicule avec immatriculation et assurance valides
