Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and fabrication of mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and experience with CAD software, as well as a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor. Create detailed schematics and technical drawings to support project specifications. Assist in the fabrication of prototypes and components, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Utilize CNC machinery for precision manufacturing tasks. Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems to evaluate performance and reliability. Document project progress, findings, and recommendations for improvements. Support the integration of logic controllers into mechanical designs. Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and contribute ideas for optimization.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software (Solid works, Inventor) for drafting and design purposes. Understanding of CNC machining processes and fabrication techniques. Experience with logic controllers is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.52-$40.02 per hour
