Blonyx is a North Vancouver-based sports nutrition brand for people with athletic ambition. We provide performance products to ambitious people in all sports across N. America and the UK, with a particular focus on Western Canada.

We are currently searching for a Junior Marketing Manager to join us on our team.

You will work as an integral part of our marketing team, helping us execute our marketing strategy.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The role will have the following responsibilities:

Assist in shaping the Blonyx brand and marketing strategy

Execute our social media, email and PR strategies

Management of all branding to ensure consistency and alignment across all channels

Manage our event calendar and help our event execution (with our events manager)

Help create content

Generate marketing data reports and present them to the management team with your recommendations

Help develop relationships with key partners to build marketing initiatives (e.g. Fed, Giant Cycles, BC Rugby, Cycling BC and the likes)

Analyze data and communicate with customers to build a good understanding of our true brand and the performance of your strategies.

Help manage and report on marketing budgets (Good exposure to working with operations and accounting)

...and assist with a number of awesome marketing projects we have on the go.

Blonyx is a small company in a growth phase. This is a prime opportunity for a very ambitious and driven individual, ready to test their metal and grow a brand along with their reputation. If you see yourself as a future Marketing Director this will expose you to this level of responsibility over time.

Qualifications, skills and experience

A degree in a marketing or business subject (although extensive experience trumps this)

2+ years experience as a Marketing Coordinator with a track record of successful campaigns and/or achievements. Ideally this will be with an e-commerce brand

Experience in consumer goods / direct-to-consumer marketing

Experience in the sport or sports nutrition industry is ideal, but not essential

Excellent understanding of and experience in data analysis

A passion for sports, ideally as a participant

A desire to win and work hard to build success for yourself and the company you work for

Salary: $55,000

Benefits: Medical and dental coverage, flexibility in work hours, in-office 1-2x a week, working while travelling permitted on a case-by-case basis.
