Diamond and Diamond Lawyers LLP is looking for a customer service focused Junior Lawyer that is as passionate about real estate as we are, to work with us in our Oakville location!Qualifications: You must be a current member of the Ontario Bar. Membership in the Law Society of Ontario. Must have at least 1 year of experience in the field. Previous customer service experience is an asset, and a strong skill set is required. You must have a passion for this above everything else! Strong computer skills. No specific software requirements, as Diamond and Diamond Lawyers builds most of its own tools, but in order to learn quickly, familiarity with modern software patterns and an openness to learning a new method is essential.Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation and advise clients accordingly. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions. Draft and negotiate real estate transactions. Draft routine leases and amendments. Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before real estate transactions are executed. Manage regulatory and compliance-related services. Represent the company in purchases and sales of properties.
