With clients all over BC ranging from professional services and manufacturing to non-profit clients. As we continue to grow, we look for the best and brightest talent to scale with our growth. Our team is looking for a Junior IT Project Specialist / Systems Administrator to contribute to the buildout of our client and internal infrastructures. As a Junior IT Project Specialist / Systems Administrator, you, among other team members at Cloud Collective, will build the organization\'s technical and cultural foundation. Unlike other organizations ingrained in a particular way of doing things (\xe2\x80\x9cwe\xe2\x80\x99ve always done it this way\xe2\x80\x9d), you are encouraged to make independent decisions and to think outside the box. We value people over processes. \xc2\xb7 Work with clients and team members to design, deploy and support client IT infrastructures and systems such as networks, servers and line of business applications. o Some example projects would be: - Deploying a new Active Directory domain controller
- Migrating a client to Office 365
- Building a new Azure environment
- Implementing a new firewall or switching stack o Provide escalation support for our service/helpdesk teams to enable stability, predictability and scale in our continued growth. o Work with vendors to design and develop project plans to meet client expectations. About You o At least two years in IT helpdesk or systems engineering/administration experience. Ideally, you should be able to demonstrate proficiency in technologies such as: - Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
- Azure and AWS
- Active Directory
- Microsoft 365
- Backup technologies (Veeam)
- Remote Desktop Services
- Networking (firewalls, routers, switches, etc.) o You are concise and articulate in speech and writing o You adapt your communication style to work well with clients with varying degrees of tech savviness o You make wise decisions despite ambiguity and always think of things in the long term. o You use data to inform your intuition o Sharp assessment skills with the ability to decipher \xe2\x80\x9cwants\xe2\x80\x9d versus \xe2\x80\x9cneeds\xe2\x80\x9d and comfortable negotiating prioritization accordingly o See a problem or opportunity, take ownership and act on it independently Job Type: Full-time Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
