Desired Skills and Experience
  • 2+ years of administrative assistant experience in a professional services environment
  • Experience working in the field of Intellectual Property, a professional office or legal environment would be considered an asset
  • Data-entry experience
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Organized and independent
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with IP docketing software would be considered an asset
  • Comfortable working both independently and as a member of a team
  • Paperless office
As a member of our team your key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing saving and docketing incoming correspondence from clients and associates
  • Opening files
  • Liaising with clients and foreign associates for routine matters
  • Processing, docketing, and monitoring patent deadlines
  • Reviewing and reporting official correspondence to clients
  • Other duties as assigned
