We are currently looking for a Commercial Property Administrator to join our exciting team of dynamic professionals in our growing organization. This position will be responsible for the following contributions to our success:
  • Ensure the collection of all tenant receivables
  • Maintain current owners and tenants in accounting system
  • Maintain critical dates, files and notes for leases and projects
  • Prepare and distribute information to necessary departments upon new lease execution
  • Complete utility bill and invoice coding
  • Create purchase orders
  • Contact contractors and service providers
  • Prepare charge back invoices and recovery letters
  • Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
  • Prepare minutes of meetings
  • Resolve tenant concerns/issues
  • Perform credit checks on potential tenants
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets, reconciliation of bank accounts and preparation of audit files
  • Perform various clerical duties, such as entering data, sorting, copying and filing documents

Ideally, this position would be of interest to those with the following qualifications:
  • Minimum education requirement secondary school diploma
  • 1-3 years\' experience working in an office environment
  • Background in lease administration and property management, considered an asset
  • Must possess experience in using computer systems and software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and be assertive
  • Possess problem solving abilities, strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French, considered an asset
