Job Purpose An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing team at Peninsula, to deliver clean and innovative design work on several campaigns and projects. As a Junior Graphic Designer, we expect you to have up to 2 years\' experience in design or to have completed a university degree in Graphic Design, but more importantly to bring creativity and imagination to the role. Job Overview The key objective of the role is creation of both digital and print to support the Peninsula Canada\'s marketing department. Liaising with the marketing team on a variety of design media such as print, various types of collateral including fliers, booklets, guides, sales pieces, brochures, and more. As well as digital images including social media and email.
Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities

• Creating both online & offline graphic design such as email, social media assets and print.
• Exploring new trends and techniques with the intent of improving your own ability and value to the business.
• Liaising with our in-house content, email and UX teams when working across projects, collaborating, and using their knowledge to strengthen our core messages.
• Producing high quality graphic design outputs with limited briefings, applying creative flair, Peninsula\'s branding guidelines, and industry trends.
• Supporting events & webinars through email banners, social media images, and Power Point presentations.
• Branding documents and working on large scale designs like wall murals, banners, merchandise, and office posters.
• Internal Documents- Branding and designing company newsletters and other internal collateral.

What you Bring to the Team (Essential)

• Experience in a similar role or University degree in Graphic Design
• Relevant degree subjects in either: digital media production, graphic design, multimedia web design
• Expert skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva
• Able to show experience in both email and print design
• High attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• A great portfolio of work relevant to the role

(Desirable)

• HTML experience
• Experience with Adobe Animate for producing animated GIFs and HTML5 banners for Google AdWords Display Advertising
