The Junior Graphic Designer will support the marketing and design team by creating visual assets for both digital and print mediums. Reporting to the Brand Director, the Junior Graphic Designer will produce a variety of marketing materials, including social media content, campaign visuals and website elements. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency with design software, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating Visual Content:
Develop and design layouts for various marketing materials, such as campaign visuals, social media graphics, newsletters, GIF animation, website elements and printed assets.
Image Editing and Manipulation:
Strong knowledge of design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to edit and manipulate images for various design projects.
Collaborating with the Team:
Work closely with senior designers and other team members to understand project requirements and design needs.
Ensuring Brand Consistency:
Ensure that all designs align with the company's brand guidelines and standards.
Meeting Deadlines:
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and adhere to project deadlines.
Staying Updated:
Keep up with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure their work is current and effective.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Design Software:
A strong understanding and practical experience with design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
Understanding of Design Principles:
Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, and other fundamental design principles.
Creativity and Problem-Solving:
Ability to generate creative design concepts and solve design challenges effectively.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas and concepts.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all design work.
Time Management:
Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
