Job Description

Corum Digital is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to work out of our Concord, Ontario, Canada office as part of the Government of Canada IRAP Youth Employment Program (YEP). You will be responsible for executing designs and collaborating on concepts for Corum\xe2\x80\x99s brand, marketing campaigns, and projects under the direction of our Creative Director. You\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate with our marketing team and other departments to bring new ideas to life. In this role you\xe2\x80\x99ll work on a wide variety of design projects from digital ads to customer concept designs to website graphics to social media images; we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who\xe2\x80\x99s excited to tackle it all! What we expect from you?

• Be creative and work alongside our Creative Director and Marketing Team to execute design deliverables.
• Produce digital and print materials for the marketing department including social media images, company wide templates, event collateral, various styles of pdfs, spec sheet designs, print and digital ads, video edits, web pages and imagery, along with other graphic elements.
• Plan and create templates for Corum Digital\xe2\x80\x99s marketing team to be more efficient in their posting on social media, blogs, email, and other channels.
• Plan and create templates for the Corum Digital sales team to be more efficient and visually consistent in their presentations and communication internally and externally.
• Work with our Creative Director to create mock-ups and concepts for potential customer projects.
• Attention to detail, reviewing for errors and a commitment to brand excellence.
• Participate in strategic marketing planning meetings on a project-by-project basis.
• Work with our Creative Director to coordinate and maintain a library of visual brand resources that are accessible company-wide.

What you bring to the team?

• You have graduated from a post secondary college or university within the last 5 years with a diploma or degree in a related field.
• You have a portfolio or presentation of work that demonstrates your abilities.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re a creative problem solver with strong design and conceptual skills.
• You are comfortable explaining your ideas to others and have strong communication skills.
• Ability to accept feedback, understand it, and incorporate it into future work.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re very familiar with Adobe Creative Suite \xe2\x80\x93 Photoshop and Illustrator.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re a good listener and you aren\xe2\x80\x99t afraid to ask questions in order to understand feedback from others.
• You understand the importance of deadlines and can manage your time effectively.
