Job Description

The Junior Global Business Systems Developer supports the IT Applications department and other business functions with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP application and ZOOK reporting. Responsible for designing and implementing creative database queries and workflows to automate reporting data and provide optimal solutions for database visualization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct data mining and executes queries to process data from multiple sources.
• Design and execute SQL queries, autoroutines, data import/ export routines.
• Design, amend and schedule reports. Create new case types, database fields and correspondents.
• Workflow maintenance includes the creation of linked actions, forms, secure documents, and master documents.
• Documentation of current and developed workflows, processes, and logging of changes for recovery and support purposes
• Develop action plans to improve reporting, including suggesting & implementing any fields or improvements that could be made in systems for capturing the data needed for reporting.
• Support future system development with the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP solution.
• Any task or duties from your supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity and expertise with Microsoft business data products, including Power BI, Power Query, SQL, VBA, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and Microsoft Business Central preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or College certificate in Information Technology Solutions, Reporting Systems and Database Development or related field with 3+ years prior experience.
• Intermediate MS-SQL skills using queries and stored procedures.
• Analytical mindset with an ability to gather, organize and analyze large amounts of information so that specific business questions are answered.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all departments of the company.
• Self-starter with a capability to learn, prioritize and organize effectively with moderate supervision from a team.
• Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
