Role and Responsibilities

CAE is looking for talented junior software developer to be part of a team involved in product design, development, customization, continuous release and integration with other products and services. The product team provides a subscription-based service to flight simulator training center operations. Features and connecting services are enabling the users to manage information and data related to training center operation, keep the simulator utilization and maintenance organized and make the data available for trustworthy processing.

By joining to our product team you contribute to develop the product further and you will

• Be a member of a dynamic software development team, who will work on one of CAE\xe2\x80\x99s software as a service application which is being used across the globe.
• Support and develop the application and infrastructure components which will be deployed to Microsoft Azure platform or to an on-site hosted infrastructure
• Participate to shape the technical design and the implementation of the functional requirements of the application.
• Help maintain, improve and develop the application from a Database, Backend and Frontend perspective
• Part of a team working in Agile and DevOps methodologies

Our ideal candidate has:

• BAC in relevant field (programming, software design, web)
• Ability to work using organizational processes and to contribute to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility and strong project and assigned tasks ownership
• Demonstrate an ability to work and make decisions unsupervised
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology and to operate in an R&D environment
• Result-oriented, strong planning and organizational skill
• Rigorous and creative software development attitude
• Ability to troubleshoot problems
• Must be self-motivated, dynamic and a team player
• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of Relational Database
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Angular and Typescript
• Knowledge of Spring framework
• Knowledge or understanding of MS Azure Cloud Services and Linux
