Position Summary

The Junior Driving Support Associate will provide essential logistical support for company fleet operations. This role involves transporting vehicles between service appointments, managing rental pickups and returns, assisting with parts and supply collection, and performing vehicle detailing. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Transport

Shuttle company vehicles to and from service centers, dealerships, and rental agencies. Pick up and return rental vehicles as required.

Parts & Supplies Pickup

Collect parts and supplies from vendors to support maintenance and operational needs.

Fleet Support & Detailing

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using company checklists. Ensure vehicles are clean and ready for dispatch, including

interior and exterior detailing

Documentation & Compliance

Complete trip logs and inspection reports accurately. Follow all company safety policies and Alberta Traffic Safety Act requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with vehicle care. Strong organizational skills and reliability. Requires access to a vehicle because there is no public transport at our location

Experience working around vehicles, including fleet support, detailing, and driving, is a strong asset.

Safety & Compliance Requirements

Adhere to company Health & Safety Manual and journey management protocols. No driving under impairment (fatigue, drugs, alcohol). Mandatory seatbelt use and compliance with speed limits and distracted driving laws.

Working Conditions

Primarily field-based with occasional shop or office tasks. Exposure to varying weather conditions. Flexible schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends.
