Now Hiring: Junior Estimator - Concrete Construction

Location:

West Kelowna, BC

Wage:

$22-$28/hour (based on experience)

We're looking for a motivated

Junior Estimator

to join our growing team and support a wide range of residential, commercial, and municipal concrete projects. If you're passionate about construction, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the concrete industry, this is a great opportunity to build your career from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with quantity takeoffs, pricing, and budget preparation for various concrete projects Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings Prepare detailed estimates, bid packages, and material takeoff lists Communicate with suppliers, clients, and internal team members Support the Senior Estimator in preparing competitive bids and tender submissions Attend site visits and assist with project evaluations

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in construction or estimating (preferred) Familiarity with concrete construction (forming, finishing, pumping considered an asset) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and estimating tools (Bluebeam, Procore, QuickBooks, etc.) Strong math, organizational, and communication skills Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
