We\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99re looking for a Junior Estimator in the Construction Industry.Our client is a leading construction company currently hiring a Junior Estimator to join their team. The Junior Estimator will aid in preparing quantity takeoffs, sourcing quotations from suppliers, examining tender documents and assessing projects up for bid.Junior Estimator responsibilities:

• Prepare, manage, and lead all operational accounting functions
• Oversee Generate quantity takeoffs from drawings
• Perform system checks.
• Conduct thorough reviews of specifications, scopes of work, drawings, and schedules.
• Confirm thorough review of all addenda, tender clarifications, and scopes of work.
• Request supplier pricing before the closing date.
• Identify any products necessitating architectural approval to bid.
• Summarize tenders/quotations, specifying inclusions, exclusions, and tender notes.
• Arrange quotes, tender requirements, bonding, and bid forms.
• Compile cost reports and arrange estimates for turnover meetings with other departments.
• Undertake any other related duties/projects as needed.

• Exceptional analytical, creative problem-solving, and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while managing multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree or diploma in business, marketing, communications, or Construction related field is preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in technical or content writing is advantageous; experience in architecture, engineering, or construction sectors is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.

Compensation and benefits:

• The discussed salary for this position is $50,000 \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x93 $70,000 plus a BONUS structure.
