Blumara is a naval architecture & marine engineering firm working on real vessels, from concepts to practical delivery. We're hiring junior engineers who enjoy hands-on problem-solving, clear communication, and collaborative teams.

What you'll do

Contribute to engineering design and analysis tasks under guidance from senior engineers. Create and refine 2D/3D models and drawings using common CAD tools. Run basic calculations (e.g., geometry, loads, performance approximations) and document assumptions. Prepare clear technical notes, drawings, and presentation materials. Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and help improve standards/templates. Work cross-functionally with teammates to plan work, manage revisions, and meet deadlines. Practice good version control, organization, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. 0-3 years of relevant experience (can include co-op/internship experience). Familiarity with modern CAD/3D modeling and basic engineering analysis methods. Strong written and verbal communication; organized, curious, and collaborative. Eligible for Canadian government security clearance.
