Your future role on our team

As a designer, you'll participate in engineering projects, technology selection and the execution of projects in the mining, hydropower and heavy industry sectors. Working at our Quebec City office, you'll play a key role in all phases of engineering projects and produce high-quality technical deliverables.

Design systems and equipment in 3D Work with point clouds (3D scanning) Select equipment for mining, industrial and hydropower applications Create layout drawings of mechanical equipment and systems Perform onsite technical information surveys Perform detailed calculations Assist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasks Prepare plans and specifications based on guidelines Foster a workplace culture that promotes having fun while delivering high-quality professional work

Summary of certifications and job requirements

College diploma in mechanical engineering technology Up to five years of experience Experience with 3D design Available to travel occasionally between the Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Montreal offices Available for short assignments at client sites Fluency in spoken and written French Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.) Asset: fluency in spoken and written English Asset: knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, Ansys and AutoCAD applications Asset: knowledge of piping, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, welded assemblies and structural design
