We are seeking a Junior CAD Drafting Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational understanding of mechanical design principles and a proven proficiency in SolidWorks.

Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and update 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks based on engineering specifications and sketches. Assist senior designers with drafting and design tasks. Ensure all designs and drawings comply with industry standards and company drafting guidelines. Review and verify engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness. Maintain an organized system for filing and archiving drawings and project files. Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks is required.

Please be prepared to provide a portfolio or examples of your work. Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles. Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
