We are seeking a recent engineering graduate with a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. The ideal candidate is either already registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or eligible to register. This is a design-heavy position that involves:
3D modeling and drafting
Structural and mechanical design
Application of first principles and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software
3D scanning and point cloud integration
Client interfacing and site visits
Conducting field surveys and collecting information
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings
Perform structural and mechanical design tasks
Utilize FEA software for analysis and validation
Integrate 3D scanning and point cloud data into design processes
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
Interface with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates
Visit client sites (approximately 20% of the time) to gather requirements, conduct field surveys, and collect information
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
0 to 2 years of relevant experience
Registration as an EIT or eligibility to register
Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software
Strong understanding of first principles and FEA software
Experience with 3D scanning and point cloud integration
Official university transcripts required
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
Proficiency in English; French is an asset
