Position: Junior Corporate Travel Trainer
Location: Toronto (hybrid)

Our client is looking for a Junior Travel Agent Corporate Trainer to join a dynamic and engaging team!

Please note that this position requires a TICO license. Your candidacy will not be considered if you do not hold a valid TICO certification.
We are looking for an energetic individual who possesses exceptional writing skills for training documentation, presentation skills, customer service skills, and travel agency operations/supplier knowledge along with an ability to multitask. This person will perform training via zoom and in person on all products offered by our client including ClientLinq and business building. They will assist in coordinating supplier webinars and assist with onboarding new suppliers. They will also help facilitate/train on internal programs, as required.

Other key responsibilities and duties:

- Determining the needs of travel agents in order to help grow their business through training
- Creating and reviewing training materials including step-by-step instructions, videos, etc.
- Working/coordinating with preferred and approved suppliers to ensure an understanding of their products
- Conducting training sessions via Zoom
- Providing excellent customer service and support to agents
- Prioritizing, organizing, and following through on training issues until the agents have a complete understanding of the material being covered
- Reporting on training initiatives
- Writing travel agent\'s newsletter that goes out to the agents
- Internal updating the Extranet (called The HUB)
- Researching developments in training
- Handling internal and external mail
- Executing other jobs as assigned

Qualifications:

- Must have excellent presentation skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills (grammar/spelling is very important)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with agents, suppliers and head office staff
- Experience producing training materials
- Ability to think \xe2\x80\x9cOutside the box\xe2\x80\x9d when the situation calls for it
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Willingness to travel (conference, regional meetings, etc.)
- Team player and a great attitude
- Travel and tourism diploma or other travel-related experience
- TICO certificate required
- Excellent knowledge of MS Power Point, Excel and MS Office
