SUMMARY



The

Junior Construction Coordinator

is responsible for ensuring effective coordination and smooth operations between our Project management, Field and Accounting Team, to contribute to the successful completion of construction projects. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of construction accounting and contribute to the smooth operation of our organization. all while promoting the Regehr company culture and core values.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Reporting to and receiving instruction from the Construction Coordinator, these tasks are strictly an outline of essential duties & responsibilities; any other duties may also be assigned when required.

Provide administrative support to the Construction Coordinator, and Project Managers as required

Work with the project team to understand and assist with tracking all work,

tasks, and project assignments

Coordinate and attend meetings with project team, track action items and take minutes for project meetings etc.

Enter, review, and analyze field production reports and prepare internal and external status reports

Assist with overall project document control ranging from documents from the field to municipal permits.

Coordinate between Project Management and accounting Team to provide timely approval and accurate processing of invoices.

Coordinate with accounting department for consistent and accurate tracking of job costs

Code invoices and review of daily site documentation.

Reference invoicing against Price Lists

Update and keep current Price Lists

Monitor invoicing and track adjustments.

Track and maintain an organized purchase order system.

Support the project management team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed. Organize and structure Dispatch for operation review. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with company policies and procedures

QUALIFICIATIONS



Would prefer experience working for a civil construction company.

Certificate, diploma or in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in a medium-sized business environment.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong aptitude to get things done.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Familiarity with relevant accounting principles and regulations.

Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance preferred. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
