Junior CNC Press Brake Operator

Custom Millwork and Metal Fabrication

Millworks Custom Manufacturing (2001) Inc. (MCM 2001), a leading manufacturer of custom millwork and metal components, is seeking a Junior CNC Press Brake Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing, precision work, and collaboration. You will play an important part in transforming custom designs into high-quality finished products.

You will be working alongside a skilled and supportive team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where teamwork, initiative, and problem solving are valued every day.

We have a strong custom metal operation and are looking to expand. We are willing to train and mentor candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Programming and inputting measurements into CNC press brake machines Loading raw materials and operating programmed brake presses to form custom metal parts Following production schedules and established order of operations Setting up machines, tools, fixtures, and dies for new jobs using samples and drawings as references Initiating, monitoring, and adjusting the forming process as required Performing in-process checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality standards are met Inspecting finished components to confirm they meet required specifications Organizing completed parts and transferring them to the next stage of production Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

Our Ideal Candidate Brings:

Previous press brake experience is an asset, training will be provided Basic computer skills, AutoCAD experience is considered an asset Strong attention to detail and time management skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn under the guidance of experienced operators Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility for quality workmanship The ability to work well within a team environment while showing initiative when required
