who is looking to gain hands-on experience supporting cloud infrastructure and helping enterprise clients modernize their IT environments.
You'll work closely with senior cloud engineers and architects to maintain, monitor, and support customer environments, contribute to cloud deployments, and ensure environments remain secure, compliant, and optimized.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Administration & Support
Monitor and maintain Azure resources including Virtual Machines, storage, networking, and security groups.
Support user and license administration in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Respond to service alerts, incidents, and user requests, escalating as needed.
Assist in performing routine Azure health checks, backups, and patching.
Participate in provisioning and configuring new Azure resources and services.
2. Security, Compliance & Governance
Apply security best practices under the guidance of senior staff, including Conditional Access, Defender for Office/M365, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
Assist in maintaining compliance and data loss prevention (DLP) policies across M365.
Support the implementation of governance policies (naming conventions, tagging, resource locks).
3. Deployment & Automation Support
Collaborate on deployments of Azure resources using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Bicep or ARM templates.
Assist with Azure DevOps pipelines and automation scripting (PowerShell preferred).
Help track and optimize resource usage and costs under supervision.
4. Learning & Collaboration
Work under mentorship from senior architects and cloud engineers.
Stay up to date on Microsoft cloud technologies and complete relevant certifications.
Contribute to documentation, knowledge base articles, and internal wikis.
Participate in customer and internal meetings as a junior technical contributor.
Qualifications Required:
1-2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related role.
Familiarity with core Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking) and M365 admin tools (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
Strong foundational knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux Server and Active Directory/Entra.
Basic experience with PowerShell or other scripting for automation.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and customer-focused mindset
Ability to learn complex concepts.
Ability to follow detailed operating procedures
Preferred:
Microsoft certifications such as
AZ-900
,
MS-900
, or
SC-900
.
Exposure to Azure AD, Defender for Endpoint, or Sentinel.
Experience supporting environments in healthcare, finance, or government sectors.
Understanding of zero-trust principles and cloud security fundamentals.
