EXP is currently seeking a Junior Civil Technologist to join our fast-paced and rapidly expanding infrastructure group in Kingston.

The Junior Civil Technologist will work under the supervision of the senior engineers and project managers for design of land development projects in the public and private sectors. The Junior Civil Technologist will also be required to undertake site visits to review construction work and prepare construction review reports.

Your Responsibilities

• Experience in the use of computer aided design/drafting software, including AutoCAD and civil 3D.
• Knowledgeable in the design of sanitary and storm sewer systems, water distribution system and design of roads and parking lots is preferred but not essential
• Construction field experience
• Possess MS Office skills.
• Experience in Strong people skills, and ability to work with a wide variety of staff
• Any experience in the engineering, consulting or construction industry is preferred

Skills and Knowledge You Bring

• Diploma in civil engineering technology
• Minimum of 2 years of design and construction field experience of municipal and land development projects in Ontario
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Attention to detail and accuracy;
• Good interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements;
• Valid Drivers License
