Our Opportunity Our Terrace, BC division is seeking a Student Civil Designer/Technologist to join our team. Under the direction and training of senior staff, the successful candidate will assist with producing general arrangements, layout and detail drawings while adhering to company procedures, engineering criteria, design standards and applicable codes. You will work using AutoCAD and Civil3D and interface regularly with other disciplines, vendors and customers. Secondary duties may include surveying, material testing and site inspections.
Requirements

• Recent graduate of the Civil Engineering Technology Diploma (Ideally)

• Design experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Knowledgeable in preparation of resource bridge site plans and general arrangement drawings, resource road designs, and general civil topographical drawings/designs;

• Knowledgeable in survey and material testing;

• Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplinary environment

• Good organizational skills, technical competence and strong attention to detail.
