McElhanney is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in Prince Rupert, BC. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their Civil 3D and engineering experience.

What You'll Do
Assist in the production of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates and tender documents for municipal infrastructure engineering projects.
Take projects from preliminary concepts and sketches into engineering designs, plans, and project documentation requirements, using primarily Civil 3D, as well as other technical software as needed.
Perform construction inspections, data collection, and other field tasks as required.
Assist the geomatics and environmental teams with data collection and field tasks as needed.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved.
Liaise with contractors, clients/owners, and affected stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Civil 3D Software is an asset.
Registration as an ASET T.T. or another technical accreditation is an asset
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work without supervision as well as within a busy and close-knit team environment.
Valid drivers license is required.
What Can We Offer You?
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $95,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual's education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
